    面對不固定的出賽頻率，「每次熱身就等於練投，若接連幾場沒有上場、連熱身都沒有，自己也會另外找時間賽前練投個15至20球」，王建民也提到，練投時會盡量模擬比賽情境，「想像有打者在那邊」，幫助維持投球狀況。
